The Right Wing Presidential Recount Conspiracy

If you've been following the news recently you might have heard Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein has successfully raised 4 million dollars for recounts of the popular vote in the states of Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Michigan, all of which were won by about 1% by Donald Trump.

Now to the right wing wack jobs....this is evidence of a massive conspiracy as evidenced by their headlines:

First per The Donald's personal media site Breitbart: "
Jill Stein Trying to ‘Delegitimize’ Trump With Recount"

Or the home of Birthism, WorldNetDaily:
"Operation steal seeks recount to declare Hillary president"

And per Infowars, home of most right wing conspiracy theories and infamous conspiracy theorists Alex Jones:
"BREAKING: DEMOCRAT COUNTER-COUP AGAINST TRUMP IN PROGRESS"

"IS JILL STEIN’S RECOUNT AN ATTEMPT TO STEAL THE ELECTION FOR HILLARY?"

Shockingly thought......it turns out they are 100% correct.

Generally speaking the purpose of a recount is because you dont believe the results are correct and your hoping a recount will change those results.

That's not a conspiracy....thats the fucking point of a recount.

But apparently the right wing cant wrap their heads around that, as the mental gymnastics and accusations they have to go through to get their is crazy.

For example, from that 2nd InfoWars article:

"Some Trump supporters are concerned that Jill Stein’s recount is an attempt to steal the election for Hillary Clinton after questions were asked as to why the recount is only taking place in closely fought swing states that Trump won.

“This is not being done to benefit one candidate at the expense of the other,” Stein told PBS.
If that’s the case, why is Stein only fundraising to conduct recounts in states where Trump won?"

Literally just explained this. No one ever asks for a recount of results they agree with....its not a thing that happens

"Hillary won New Hampshire, Minnesota & Nevada by fewer votes than Trump won Pennsylvania, but there will be no recount in any of those three states.

While Trump won Pennsylvania by around 78,000 votes, Clinton won New Hampshire by less than 3,000 votes. Hillary won Minnesota by less than 44,000 votes and Nevada by around 26,000 votes.
If this was a fair and impartial effort to recount closely fought swing states, at least one of the recounts should be taking place in a state where Hillary won, but that isn’t the case.".

I havnt checked the numbers, but I know they are more or less right here, Nevada, New Hampshire and Minnesota were very close Clinton wins.

Now if only there was something someone could do about that......like raise money for a recount in those states as well....maybe some right wing group like Info Wars could do that?

NAHHH, that would require time, effect, and of course the believe Trump actually won those states.....which I have to say, as much as they are whining about recounts, I'm not sure the right wing has.

Ok, so look, to be completely fair, the chances of Steins recount actually changing the results of the election is incredibly small.  Trump currently has 306 electoral votes, and needs to keep at least 270 to win.  Meaning the recount would have to flip 38 electoral votes.

The combined votes of those 3 states is 46....but the smallest of those states is worth 10 votes. Which basically means, the only way to remove 38 electoral votes from Trump is to flip ALL 3.

They ALL have to go to Clinton or nothing changes.

So realistically, this is not a thing that Trump supporters should worry about...unless the results in Florida are also challenged (as they too are razor thin for Trump, but they are not currently being challenged) as Florida + any of the other 3 states could tip the election if the results changed......but again even that is very very very very very very very unlikely.

And of course that brings us right back to where we started on this bit.....if the right wing is that worried those 3 states or potentially Florida flipping....file recounts in NH, NV and MN...y'all have that right.

So this isnt a conspiracy and  right wingers arnt helpless....despite the fact the remainder of that InfoWars article makes them out to be so:

"Stein’s recount effort only began after computer scientists claiming anomalies between the electronic voting machine results and the paper ballot results met with the Clinton campaign and asserted that the vote may have been “hacked”.

That explanation also makes zero sense in the case of Michigan, which didn’t use electronic voting machines.

“We are an entire paper and optical scan state,” Chris Thomas, the longtime director of Michigan’s Bureau of Elections, told the Detroit Free Press. “Nothing is connected to the Internet.”

The vote has already been counted twice in Michigan. A quick count was conducted and the results announced on the morning of November 9th. A second certified count was then conducted, with the final results announced yesterday, with Trump winning by 10,704.

If a third vote count in Michigan, which only uses paper ballots, was to flip the state to Hillary, this would obviously suggest vote fraud not with regard to the original vote, but the recount itself.

Questions are also swirling as to how Stein managed to raise such a whopping sum of money, now over $4.7 million dollars, in such a short space of time given that she only raised around $3 million dollars for her entire campaign.
Suspicions over the regularity and timing of the donations have also led some to claim that the entire process is illegitimate."

See, instead of suggesting Right Wingers do something proactive (like demand the recounts they are entitled too in the 3 states mentioned), InfoWar's "solution" is to attack the legitimacy of the Stein Recounts....even though they are highly highly unlikely to work.

They apparently cant believe that a recount that clearly would benefit the candidate most people voted for might actually be able to raise a ton of money real fast to see if she [clinton] did actually win.  Stein is being attacked on the same lines in pretty much all the other headlines I mentioned too....they are all going after the legitimacy of the money she raised and how impossible it is for this to have happened.

There is something else telling here as well....given the amount of effort going into delegitimizing the recall effort...the right seems terrified Trump didnt actually win a couple of those states.

And that wouldnt be a new thing either. Quoting from the other InfoWars article I mentioned at the top:

"Calls for a recount and the erroneous assertion that Hillary won the popular vote are fueling the latest sneak effort by the globalists to rip the control out of the hands of the rightful heirs: The American Patriots."

Its the bold part that's relevant here Hillary DID win the popular vote, as even Donald Trump admits. Now of course the popular vote doesnt matter as far as who becomes president......but the right wing is out to undermine it anyways....anything they have to do to make the Recounts appear build on a false idea and completely illegitimate to ask for.....because deep down, they seem to be terrified Jill Stein is right and Donald Trump didnt win.

Though I will be fair and close with one more quote from a slightly more sane Right Winger, the guy mentioned in the Breitbart Article I mentioned at the beginning, a radio host named Craig Melvin...who actually said something I somewhat agree with:

“I would like to float another theory out there , my own personal theory perhaps, that this could be an effort, an early effort to try and delegitimize a president before he’s sworn in. If you can create this idea, plant this seed with a significant number of people in the country, that it was rigged—oh, the irony—then, perhaps, maybe that’s — maybe that’s part of it.”

Yes, it would be ironic if, after Donald Trump spent weeks if not months claiming the elections were rigged against him and after the GOP spend 8 years floating crazy idea after crazy idea about how Barack Obama wasnt a legitimate president.....because say he was born in Kenya, at least according to Donald Trump, that it would now be Donald Trump whose viewed as the illegitimate president.

But again, even this is based on the premise that the recounts cut into Trump's electoral lead, if not outright reverse it.

If all 3 recounts take place, and if all 3 recounts reveal Trump actually did win the state (which is a MUCH more likely outcome than Hillary taking any of them, let alone all 3), that actually supports the idea that Donald Trump was legitimately elected President...in fact we went back and proved it twice.

So instead of being an effort to "delegitimize a president before he’s sworn in", it would actually wind up legitimizing him.

But this is apparently a thought that is well above and beyond most right wing media. Because at the end of the day, it seems even they cant believe they actually won, and are convinced everyone must still be out to get them.

They've become so paranoid they cant take yes for an answer.  If they werent about to be running the country, this would be fucking hilarious.

What the fuck just happened 2016?

With all due respect to whatculutre.com and their bit with with same name.....WHAT THE FUCK JUST HAPPENED!?!?

Donald Trump is the President-Elect of the United States.

Now to say this is unexpected would be a massive understatement.....in fact reporting has come out that even the RNC's internal polls had Trump losing.

Still, Donald Trump is the President-Elect of the United States.

Hillary Clinton WON the popular vote. The majority of american saw through Donald Trump's bullshit.

Still, Donald Trump is the President-Elect of the United States.

So how did this happen?

Well on paper the answer seems easy enough, in a massive shock Wisconsin went red for the first time since 1984, and Hillary Clinton massively under-preformed in (still uncalled) Michigan and Pennsylvania, the latter of which went red for the first time since 1988.

But honestly, I think the answer is slightly more insidious, and complicated.

For starters I think it was the "they are both the same" mentality that people embraced as a way to "tune out" the election.

People heard Trump was a bad candidate. As he was, I mean look no farther than what he wants to do to women's vagnias, or his views on giving more countries nuclear weapons.

But they would also hear Hillary was a bad candidate. And she was, I mean look no farther than her wall street speeches or complete inability to defend herself on her emails.

So many people decided "They both suck" was an easier position to take than figuring out who was the lesser of two evils and voting for that one.

Which is INSANE because in no way were Trump and Hillary equally as bad on almost any given issue.

For example, Abortion.

If your pro choice, you can not honestly believe Donald "I would overturn Roe V Wade and Punish Women who have abortions" Trump is as bad as Hillary "well Im not exactly in favor of late term abortions" Clinton on that issue

Or on free trade, you cant honestly believe Hillary "I have a public and private position on TPP" Clinton and  Donald "I oppose the TPP, CAFTA and NAFTA" Trump were going to exactly the same on that issue.

Now yes, you might find yourself agreeing with one on one issue and the other on the other....but that doesnt mean they are equally as bad, that means you have to decide which of those issues is slightly more important to you and vote that way.

But people think that is hard, and they cant be bothered.

And this in turn I think led to many people voting 3rd party, cause hey, then you can send a message to the "establishment" they suck....even when the candidates your voting for tend to hold the same position as the ones you think suck.

For example I have bad news for any pro choice people who voted Gary Johnson over Hillary....hes anti abortion like Trump.  Ditto by the way if your anti free trade and voted Jill Stein over Trump...shes pro free trade.

So you didnt make a choice...you took the easy way out.

I happened to watch the election with a group of people who all voted 3rd party, or didnt vote. Now as the night dragged on, and our state wasnt called for either candidate....and was looking more and more necessary for Clinton to win to have a chance of winning, I watched recrimination after recrimination go around the room, mostly a lot of "oh god maybe I should have voted for clinton".

Now my state DID eventually go for Clinton, not that it mattered at the end of the day.

But a lot of other states didnt. Wisconsin and Pennsylvania in particular didnt go for Clinton. Neither did Florida. Michigan and Airizona havnt been called yet, but still probably wont go to clinton.  New Hampshire hasnt been called yet either....that might go to Clinton though.

But heres the thing, look at the vote totals out of those states:

Wisconsin was 1,382,210 votes for Clinton and 1,409,467 votes for Trump.

So Trump won by 27,257 votes.

Pennsylvania was Clinton: 2,844,705,  Trump: 2,912,941. A difference of  68,236.

Florida was Clinton 4,485,745, Trump 4,605,515. A difference of  119,770

And Michigan seems set for similar numbers...though as it hasnt been called yet, I wont be doing the math for that one. Ditto with New Hampshire (Arizona has Trump up 5% at the moment, so not that close)

Still in all cases, those are TINY numbers.
In fact, in Wisconsin,
Gary Johnson got 106,442, or almost 5 times the difference in the vote total
And Jill Stein beat the difference in the vote total, she got 30,980.
And the Constitution Party, Workers World, and Independent party got about 15,000 combined.  (and Im betting you never heard of those parties before)

Those numbers by the way, play out the same in PA
Gary Johnson himself beat that number. He got 142,653 votes.
Jill Stein even almost beat that number, she got 48,912
Heck even the Constitution party candidate in PA got about a 1/3 of that difference with 20,896 votes

And Florida, Gary Johnson got 206,007, roughly double the vote difference
Stein and other 3rd parties got a total of about 80,000 for the record.
Michigan seems set for an even narrower decision, with about 10-15,000 votes being the deciding factor...meaning this time even the Constitution party probably has more votes than than, let alone Stein and Johnson.

And, just for the record in New Hampshire right now, Clintons lead is less than 1,000 votes...so pretty much ALL 3rd parties beat that difference in the votes.

Now your probibily thinking....whats my point?

Well first, anyone who voted 3rd party in any of those states and woke up this morning going "holy fuck, what the fuck just happened, how can Donald Freaking Trump be president?"......I got news for you, YOUR THE GOD DAMN REASON WHY.

Now look I admit, Im sure some of those 3rd party voters are happier with Trump than Clinton, or legitimately are 3rd party and didnt do it because "both candidates suck" but I have a sneaking suspicion in all 3 of those states there were definitely enough voters who would have preferred Clinton to Trump but voted 3rd party cause they "both suck" to swing those states.

Now what difference would that have made?

Well at the moment with the 3 states uncalled, the Electoral vote is  228 for Clinton and 279 for Donald Trump (and 31 still up for grabs).

But, lets say instead of voting 3rd party, all the "we prefer Hillary to Trump" people actually voted for Hillary and switched those 3 states (PA, WI and presumably MI) blue?

Then the Electoral map would be 274 votes for Clinton and 249 votes for Trump (with 15 unassigned between AZ and NH).

in otherwords Hillary would have won. And it turns out, she wouldnt even need New Hampshire.

And Florida by the way is worth 29 electoral votes, meaning she could have lost any 2 of those 3 listed above +NH, AND STILL WON.

But hey, both candidates sucked and you voted 3rd party.....good fucking job.

And too be honest, I dont mean to direct that just to the "prefer Hillary" 3rd party voters in MI, WI and PA.....it applies to the voters in NH, CO, MA. MN, and NV voters as well, where Hillary won by about 1-2%...or any state like VA that took a lot longer to call than it should even it it wasnt close (5%) win....you all just got fucking lucky your state went the way of your second choice.

Now I know some people are going to think maybe I'm being a bit unfair to the 3rd party voters, I mean you know if the democrats had run a better candidate....like say Bernie Sanders, then maybe those folks would have voted Democrat, and you know we wouldnt have record 3rd party support in a lot of states.

To which I say, I dont think Im being unfair at all....its not my problem those people didnt understand the possible consequences of their actions.....but Im understandably pissed we all have to live with them....despite the plurality of us voting for Hillary Clinton.

Which brings us to the ultimate irony here.....at the end of the day, Donald Trump was 100% correct. The system IS rigged, as for the second time in 16 years we get set to swear in our 2nd republican president who failed to win a majority of the popular vote.

Thank you Electoral College.  And thank you Founding Fathers for creating the Electoral College cause the average american was too stupid to elect the "right" person to be president.

The last 2 (of 5) times we really got a pair of geniuses foisted on us because we were too stupid to pick the "better and more qualified" one.  And actually given that one of those 3 previous times resulted in us getting President Hayes, who ended Reconstruction in the south, and let them put Jim Crow laws and legal discrimination in place for the next century, I think we should really consider you guys 2 for 5 (at best) in terms of making sure we got the best choice cause we are too dumb to pick it our selves.

Early Sleepers Guide to when you can sleep on election night 2016

Alright, so even if youve been living under a rock, you know theres an election tomorrow. Hell an alien ship could crash land in the middle alaska, and the one thing they would know by the time their people came to pick them up is we have an election.

And youve probibily also heard its going to be a close election, which usually means a long night..and you might need to go to bed early

So with that in mind, heres the early sleepers guide to election night 2016:

Ok so first, we establish the states that wont have any real surprises for each side,

For Hillary Clinton, thats VT, MA, RI, NY, CT, NJ, MD, VA, DC, WI, MN, IL, CO, NM, CA, OR, WA, HI and 3 votes from ME, for a starting total of 252 of the needed 270 electoral votes.

For Donald Trump thats WV, IN, KY, TN, SC, AL, MS, LA, AK, MO. KS, TX, OK, ND, SD, MT, WY, ID, AK and 4 Votes from NE, for a starting total of 157 votes.

Now you can see already, Trumps winning more states....but Clintons winning the more populated states, and since the electoral college  (EC) works on population, that means Clinton has almost an 100 EC vote lead, and is much closer than Trump is to victory.

Now this also leaves several swing states, NH, MI, OH, IA, NC, GA, FL, NV, UT, AZ, and 1 vote each from ME and NE are the commonly accepted swing states.

Though to be honest, I think thats actually way to broad....it now seems a safe bet Clinton will pick up MI, and Trump is a near lock to win GA, UT and that 1 vote from NE, and a safe bet for AZ, and IA as well

Making the new totals Clinton 268 to 197 for Trump.

This leaves NH, OH, NC, FL, NV, and that 1 ME vote as the remaining swing votes.

And to be honest, there is no way for a 269/270 split, meaning that one vote in ME is basically worthless as far as affecting someones chances to win, so we can ignore it.

Of these remaining 5 states, its not outside the realm of possibility that either candidate wins, any of them, and in theory a win in any of them puts Hillary Clinton over the top and makes her president.

Trump by comparison needs to win all 5, so the odds dont appear in his favor from this initial set up.

But upsets happen, and its likely going to take some time for any of those 5 states to actually get called, so the question becomes how soon can you safely go to bed.

And of course each side has a couple of "reach states" the would like to take from the other, Clinton would like to pick off GA and AZ from Trumps pile.

Trump meanwhile would like MI and PA from Clintons pile.

Now because we are trying to get this done early....Im not going to focus too much on AZ, I think the race could and will be called before anyone tries to call AZ

now because Clinton is so close to winning, the truth is, if they call GA as "too close to call" , you can probably safely go to bed....the chances of Trump not getting a solid win in GA and picking up all 5 of those swing states is incredibly small unless he scores an upset in PA

And if they already called PA for Clinton, and then GA as "too close to call"...go to bed, Clinton's going to win, the odds of trump running the table on those 5 states is basically nill.

Conversely if they call PA as "too close to call" and GA for Trump.....your going to be pulling late hours, and Trumps got a decent shot, as this particular set up results in a 248/197 Clinton lead.

But if they call FL for Clinton in this situation....you can probably go to bed, that kicks her up to 277...if she holds MI. However none of the other swings put her over the top alone, if she can win two of them though...you can sleep.

And of course, the reverse is true as well, if GA goes red and MI goes "too close to call", and Clinton picks up FL and keeps PA....shes got 281, you can sleep now.

However in this case, she could also win in OH and have exactly 270....meaning you can go to bed if that call is made for Clinton as well.

But what if they call GA for Trump and both MI and PA as "too close to call"?

Well at this point, its officially a fight, with Clinton at 232 to Trumps 197....but I dont like Clintons chances if she cant lock down both MI and PA, so you can probably go to bed.

And if Trump somehow wins both PA and MI (plus GA), then its going to be a very long night. At that point the EC vote total is a Trump lead of 233 to 232....and no one of the 5 swing states is large enough for either candidate to win....though again the safe bet is this means Trump wins cause theres not any likely situation in which Clinton can lose those 2 states, and still have a chance of winning enough of the remaining 5 to win.

Finally we get to the least likely situation of all, and the only one that likely requires you staying up past 10 o'clock EDT or so,

Trump wins PA and MI but loses GA and AZ.

This would result in total and utter annihilation of the space time continuum (cause of how extremely unlikely it is)

no seriously, this would give us a 259 to 206 EC vote split....with Hillary still winning. Now this and a call in any of FL, NC or OH for Hillary would allow you to go to bed, she just won (somehow).

This also happens to be the ONLY case in which that 1 vote in ME is at all relevant, as a call for Hillary in both NV and NH would give her 269 votes....meaning that ME vote could put her over the top.

Conversely this also means, if they only call NH and NV for Hillary in this situation, and Trump gets the rest......we have a tie.

Which means every body should make their way to the nearest bar and drink them out of businesses...we are totally fucked.

So yea, there you have it....at least for the presidential race, it might actually be an early night...assuming no surprises it will take only 1 call of one of the east coast/central swings (NH, FL, NC or OH) for Clinton...and we can all call it a night.

And even in most of the likely surprise cases where one of the 4 possible reach states gets flipped or at least turned "too close to call" you probably wont have to be up all that late....maybe 11 or midnight EDT.

Now if you care about the senate races.....thats going to be a whole different problem....and you better get the coffee ready cause you likely wont be sleeping anytime soon.

So the odds are extremely good the Democrats will take 3 Republican Seats specifically IL, WI and PA (in that order of likelyhood). But to take the senate....they need 5, 4 if Hillary wins.

The only other seats they have a chance at are in NH and MO, now if they lose both of them....thats it for the senate, you can call it a night and go to bed once the presidential race is called.

But if they win either or both....things get real bumpy.

See even if the pick up either seat, the senate still isnt decided no matter the presidential race outcome.

See the democrats are defending a seat as well in a very tight race....in Nevada.

Which means if you want to know for SURE who's going to control the senate, if the Dems take only 1 of those seats, you have to wait until the results come in from Nevada AND the presidential election....and the absolute earliest the NV results are coming in is 10pm EDT....but dont count on it cause thats when polls close and short of a blowout its going to take a while to count those votes.

So the only way your getting an early night for the senate is if Hillary wins the presidency early, AND the dems take both the MO and NH seats  (thereby rending the NV seat kinda irrelevant since the VP breaks ties), and to be honest....I dont see this being the most likely outcome as I dont think the dems are taking the MO seat.

So there you have it, early sleepers.....the chances you wont have to stay up late tomorrow, and the "calls" that can signal you when its safe to sleep....or not as the case may be.

The Second 2016 Presidential Debate Awards

So this is the second installment of the 2016 Presidential debate awards….and this time around its going to be a much smaller “show” mostly because this debate was not the flat out meltdown the last one was. Plus the fact that both candidates dodged most of the questions doesn’t give me much to work with…..and I need good zingers or moments to make this work.

Still, I do have a bit to work with, so here we go, once again the Awards are in the order the events happened at the debate.

We start with:

The “Casual racism” award

This happened in what was basically Trump’s opening remarks, right at the end when he said:

“But I want to do things that haven’t been done, including fixing and making our inner cities better for the African-American citizens that are so great and for the Latinos, Hispanics, and I looking forward to doing- It’s called make America great again.”

Cause, as we all know, only minorities live in the inner cities….in fact the two words are interchangeable, See later one Trump said this:

“Hillary is constantly talking about the inner cities of our country which are a disaster education-wise, job-wise, safety-wise, in every way possible. I’m going to help the African-Americans, I’m going to help the Latinos, Hispanics. I am going to help the inner cities. She has done a terrible job for the African-Americans.”

Later, he did it again:

"I would be a president for all of the people. African-Americans, the inner cities. Devastating what's happening to our inner cities. She’s been talking about for years. As usual, she talks about it, nothing happens. She doesn't get it done. Same with the Latino Americans. The Hispanic Americans. The same exact thing. They talk. They don't get it done. You go into the inner cities, it's 45% poverty. African-Americans now 45% poverty in the inner cities.”

The “Blame Canada” award.

So if you’ve ever seen the south park movie, you probably know that all violence and inappropriate are

Canada’s fault. The same idea is true for Trump….the fact he said he sexually assaults women is actually

ISIS’ fault:

“But this is locker room talk. You know, when we have a world where you have ISIS chopping off heads, where you have them, frankly, drowning people in steel cages, where you have wars and horrible, horrible sights all over and you have so many bad things happening, this is like medieval times. We haven’t seen anything likes this. The carnage all over the world and they look and they see, can you imagine the people that are frankly doing so well against us with ISIS and they look at our country and see what's going on. Yes, I am very embarrassed by it and I hate it, but it's locker room talk and it’s one of those things. I will knock the hell out of ISIS. We are going to defeat ISIS. ISIS happened a number of years ago in a vacuum that was left because of bad judgment. And I will tell you, I will take care of ISIS. We need to get on to much more important and bigger things.”
Or maybe instead of being ISIS’s fault it was all Bill Clintons fault:

“That was locker room talk. I'm not proud of it. I am a person who has great respect for people, for my family, for the people of this country and certainly I am not proud of it, but that was something that happened. If you look at Bill Clinton, far worse. Mine are words and his was action. His words, what he has done to women. There’s never been anybody in the history of politics in this nation that has been so abusive to women. So you can say any way you want to say it, but Bill Clinton is abusive to women.”

And from there we move on to what a lot of people consider the most shocking moment of the debate:

The “Seig Heil” award.

This is for all those moments in which Donald Trump promised to imprison his political rivals if elected:

But if I win, I am going to instruct my attorney general to get a special prosecutor to look into your situation. Because there has never been so many lies, so much deception. There has never been anything like it. And we’re gonna have a special prosecutor. When I speak, I go out and speak, the people of this country are furious. In my opinion, the people that have been long time workers at the FBI are furious. There has never been anything like this where e-mails, and you get a subpoena. You get a subpoena, and after getting the subpoena you delete 33,000 e-mails and then you acid wash them or bleach them, as you would say. Very expensive process. So we’re gonna get a special prosecutor and we’re gonna look into it. Because you know what, people have been -- their lives have been destroyed for doing 1/5 of what you have done. And it’s a disgrace, and honestly, you oughta be ashamed of.

[…]

Clinton: Everything he just said is absolutely false, but I’m not surprised. In the first debate, I told people it would be impossible to be fact checking Donald all the time. I would never get to talk about anything I’d want to do and how we’re really, going to really, make lives better for people. So once again, go to Hillaryclinton.com. We have literally Trump - you can fact check him in real time. Last time at the first debate ,we had millions of people fact checking so I expect we will have millions more fact checking because, you know, it's just awfully good that someone with the temperament of Donald Trump is not in charge of the law in our country.

Trump: Because you would be in jail.”
Because jailing political rivals is totally something we do in democracies......and not you know other kinds of unspecified forms of government...

The “WHAT? HUH?” award

Now as you may recall, in the last debate there was this moment where Donald Trump seemed to forget what was going on…….well it happened again.

So here’s a question directed at Hillary Clinton

“Raddatz: And Secretary Clinton, I do want to follow-up on e-mails. You’ve said your handling of your e-mails was a mistake, you’ve disagreed with the FBI Director James Comey calling your handling of classified information “extremely careless”. The FBI said there were 110 classified e-mails which were exchanged, eight of which were top secret and it was possible hostile actors did gain access to those e-mails. You don't call that extremely careless?”

Now after Clinton replies, Trump replies….and then this happens:

Anderson: We have a question here from Ken Karpowitz, it’s a question about health care.

Trump: I’d liked to know Anderson, Why aren't you bringing up the e-mails? I’d like to know.”

You know….the Email’s Trump literally JUST finished talking about…….unless he forgot already.

And by the way, this exchange kept going….

“Cooper: We brought up the e-mails.

Trump: No it hasn’t, it hasn’t and it hasn't been finished at all.

Cooper: Ken Karpowitz has a question.

Trump: One on three.”

So yea……not only does Trump apparently not remember the last question, any attempt to remind him results in him feeling victimized.

The “Say my name, say my name” award.

This goes to Donald Trump…..but to be honest it really should go to the entire republican party,

For a while now, Republicans have been pushing a rather insane notion that the words “radical Islamic terrorist” have some kind of magical powers….and that just saying them produces tangible results irregardless of any other actions.

Yet, every single time Republicans try to promote this idea, they say some of the most evasive sentences ever. For example as happened in the debate:

“To solve a problem you have to be able to state what the problem is or at least, say the name. She won't say the name and President Obama won't say the name. But the name is there. It's radical Islamic terror. And before you solve it, you have to say the name.”

See, under the very argument this sentence is supposed to pushing, every single instance of “the name” should be replaced with “radical islam” or “radical Islamic terror”

If saying “radical Islam” actually does make you tough and manly as the GOP claims, how come Trump didn’t say:

“To solve a problem you have to be able to state what the problem is, and the problem is radical Islamic terror. She won't say its radical Islamic terroism, and President Obama won't say radical Islamic terrorism. But it's radical Islamic terror. And if you cant call it radical Islamic terror, you cant fix.”

And while its true Trump is not exactly articulate……you can level this same issue and rewrite to pretty much any republican who tries to make this same point, and its pretty funny watching their own argument undercut itself.

Next up, we have a throwback to a popular 90’s tv show….

The “ITS MORPHING TIME!” award.

Again, like all the other awards, this one goes to Donald Trump, when asked about his Muslim ban

“Trump:[…] The Muslim ban is something that in some form has morphed into an extreme vetting from certain areas of the world. Hillary Clinton wants to allow --

Raddatz: Why did it morph into that. No answer the question. Would you please explain whether or not the Muslim ban still stands?

Trump: It is called extreme vetting. We are going to areas like Syria where they are coming in by the tens of thousands because of Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton wants wants to allow a 550% increase over Obama. People are coming into our country like we have no idea who they are, where they are from, what their feelings about our country is and she wants 550% more[…]“

I like how Trump makes it seem like the whole Muslim ban is sentient and may have changed on its own. Its now a completely independent organism that doesn’t answer to anyone.

Now of course we all know the real reason it “morphed”, is because Trump thinks “extreme vetting” sounds less racist, and he is trying to play to the non-white hood wearing crowd.

But hey, at least the one thing we can all be sure of….Donald Trump is totally running on White Ranger power…..

“If it looks like bullshit and smells like Bullshit….” Award.

This one actually goes to Hillary Clinton for this exchange:

Raddatz: Thank you Mr. Trump. I want to move on. This next question comes from the public through the bipartisan open debate coalition’s online forum where Americans submitted questions that generated millions of votes. This question involves WikiLeaks’ release of purported excerpts of Secretary Clinton’s paid speeches speeches, which she has refused to release. In one line in particular, in which you Secretary Clinton purportedly say, ‘You need both a public and private position on certain issues.’ So, two from Virginia asks: ‘is it okay for politicians to be two-faced? Is it acceptable for a politician to have have a private stance on issues?’ Secretary Clinton? Two minutes.

Clinton: Right. As I recall, that was something I said about Abraham Lincoln after having seen the wonderful Steven Spielberg movie called Lincoln. It was a master class watching president Lincoln get the congress to approve the 13th amendment. It was principled and it was strategic and I was making the point that it is hard, sometimes, to get the congress to do what you want to do. And you have to keep working at it and yes, president Lincoln was trying to convince some people, he used some arguments, convincing other people, he used other arguments. That was a great, I thought, a great display of presidential leadership.”

Ok…you know I never thought I’d say this…but I’m going to let Donald Trump handle this one:

Trump: I think I should respond because, so ridiculous. Look, now she is blaming -- she got caught in a total lie. Her papers went out to all her friends at the banks, Goldman Sachs and everybody else. And she said things, WikiLeaks, that just came out. And she lied. Now she’s blaming the lie on the late great Abraham Lincoln. That’s when-okay, Honest Abe never lied. That’s the good thing.”

Yea…seriously that was one of the WORST and most awkard attempted deflection jobs I’ve seen any candidate do….”I don’t want to discuss my comments so lets talk about something kinda related…in this case, the history of another kinda sorta but not really related comment. And then she couldn’t even find anything currently relevant so instead she tried to explain a 150 year old joke……and didn’t even do that right *cringe*

The “WATDAFUQHESAY?” award.

This one goes to Donald Trump, later on in the same bit I actually credited him for in the last award:

“Maybe there is no hacking, but there is - now Russia - and the reason they blame Russia is they think they’re trying to tarnish me with Russia. I know nothing about Russia - I know about Russia, but I know nothing about the inner workings of Russia. I don’t deal there, I have no businesses there, I have no loans from Russia. I have a very very great balance sheet. So great that when I did the old post office, on Pennsylvania Avenue, the United States government because of my balance sheet, which they actually know very well, chose me to do the old post office between the White House and Congress. They chose me to do the old post office - one of the primary things, in fact, perhaps the primary thing was balance sheet. But I have no loans with Russia. You could go to the United States government and they would probably tell you that because they know my sheet very well in order to get that development, I had to have - now the taxes are a very simple thing. As soon as I have - first of all, I pay hundreds of millions of dollars in taxes.”

Lets break this down bit by bit….first there is no hacking…..except that there is.

Second, Trump doesn’t know anything about Russia, except he does, except he doesn’t.

Third there is some kind of correlation between the post office building and Trumps balance sheet….or maybe its 4 or 5 correlations, I’m not sure, I think the Trumpbot 5000 actually malfunctioned there and got caught in a programming loop.

Lastly, Trump totally has no business ties with Russia, and you ask the government if you don’t believe him….because after 15 years of audits they know his business’ really well…..I mean of course Donald Trump COULD always release his own tax returns….but presumably there are worse things than “paid no taxes” hidden in there….

next,

The“digging deeper just to throw it away” award:

Once again, this goes to Donald Trump for his taxes…..

“Cooper: Can you say how many years you have avoided paying personal federal income taxes?

Trump: No. but I pay tax and I pay federal tax too. But I have a write off, a lot of it is depreciation, which is a wonderful charge. I love depreciation.[…]”

So, yea we know its at LEAST 20 years….but Trump totally wont give a number…..meaning its probably much much much more than 20 years (which makes sense given the other 5 bankruptcies he had, if they worked the same way, probably extended that period from 20 years to “the rest of his natural life, and the first few decades of his unlife should he come back as a zombie”

The” Underneath the Bus” award.

This one, technically goes to Mike Pence for winding up underneath the bus his running mate threw him under with this exchange:

Raddatz: Mr. Trump, let me repeat the question. If you were president, what would you do about Syria and the humanitarian crisis in Aleppo, and I want to remind you what your running mate said. He said provocations by Russia need to be met with American strength and that if Russia continues to be involved in airstrikes along with the Syrian government forces of Assad, the United States of America should be prepared to use military force to strike the military targets of the Assad regime.

Trump: Okay. He and I haven't spoken, and I disagree.

Raddatz: You disagree with your running mate?

Trump: I disagree.

Translation: Fuck that guy……you think id actually have a coherent and consistent policy position? Hell I barely even know the man, totally don’t talk to him at all…..and hell given that he said his bit a week ago in the VP debate, and we still arnt on the same page, I basically pay no attention to that guy either.

And now the

 award

And Trump picks up another one, after asking a question….and getting an answer in his debate

“Trump: […] Why do they have to say we are going to be attacking Mosul within the next four to six weeks, which is what they’re saying. How stupid is our country?

Raddatz: There are sometimes reasons the military does that. Psychological warfare.

Trump: I can't think of any.

Raddatz: It might be to get civilians out.

Trump: I can't think of any. […]

Raddatz gave Trump not 1 but 2 answers as to why the Military might warn people…despite that Trump still cant think of an answer.

“its 3am I must be lonely” award.

And Trump racks up another one with his attempted defense and deflection of a 3am tweet telling people to look at a non-existent sex tap.

Cooper: Mr. Trump, let me follow-up with you. In 2008, you wrote in one of your books that the most important characteristic of a good leader is discipline. You said if a leader doesn't have it, quote he or she won't be one for long. In the days after the first debate, you sent out a series of tweets from 3:00 A.M. To 5:00 A.M. including one that told people to check out a sex tape. Is that the kind of discipline...

Trump: No it wasn't check out a sex tape. It was take a look at this person she build up to be this wonderful, uh, girl scout, who was no girl scout.

Cooper: You mentioned ‘‘sex tape.’

Trump: Just so you understand: When she said 3 o’clock in the morning, take a look at Benghazi. She said who is going to answer the call at 3 o’clock in the morning, guess what? She didn't answer. Because when ambassador Stevens -- she said she was awake of at 3:00 in the morning. And she also sent a tweet out at 3 o’clock in the morning, but I won’t mention that. But he said she will be awake, the famous thing ‘we’re going to answer the call at 3:00 in the morning”

So again, he didn’t say sex tape (even though the tweet specifies sex tape) and its all Hillary’s fault that anyone even cares what anyone does at 3am……or something.  (hey cut me a break this is hard when one of the people talking doesnt use complete sentences)

The “George W. Bush Good Grammatically Skills” award

And again the winner is Donald Trump for making up a word, even later in his tweet defense.

“Between Facebook and Twitter, I have 25 million people. It's a very effective way of communication. So you can put it down, but it's an effective form of communication. I'm not unproud of it to be honest with you.”

I’m unnonperplexed as to what it means to be “unproud”. I suppose someone whos slightly less unstupid might have said ashamed….but that’s a guess at best based on the other context clues. Not to mention, Pride and Shame are opposites but there is a middle ground, I mean if your unpround and unashamed, you basically don’t give a fuck…..so maybe Trumps just saying he doesn’t give a fuck about it to be honest with you…….

And it wouldn’t be a Donald Trump presidential debate without our next award the

“Confused Word Salad” award

As you might have guessed from the lead-in, Donald Trump gets this one, for not being able to accept a compliment of all things.

First the question: “My question to both of you is, regardless of the current rhetoric, would either of you name one positive thing that you respect in one another?”

Then Hillary Clinton’s answer:

: Well, I certainly will, because I think that's a very fair and important question. Well, I respect his children. His children are incredibly able and devoted and I think that says a lot about Donald. I don't agree with nearly anything else he says or does, but I do respect that and think that is something that as a mother and a grandmother is very important to me."

And now the confusing word salad of Donald Trump:

“Well, I consider her statement about my children to be a very nice compliment. I don't know if it was meant to be a compliment, but it is a great... I'm proud of my children. They have done a wonderful job and they have been wonderful, wonderful kids. So I consider that a compliment.”

So, when the question is “can you give Donald Trump a compliment” and then Hillarys gives him a compliment…..Donald Trump is apparently not sure if it was actually a compliment…but he’s going to take it that way, which is awefully nice of him to debate the premise of the question for a several seconds, before accepting it as valid.

And then of course it was time for Trump to compliment Hillary….which brings us to our last award of the night

The “shooting yourself in the foot” award.

So this was Trump’s compliment of Clinton:

“I will say this about Hillary. She doesn't quit and she doesn't give up. I respect that. I tell it like it is. She is a fighter. I disagree with much of what she is fighting for, I do disagree with her judgment in many cases, but she does fights hard and doesn't quit and she doesn’t give up, and I consider that a very good trait.“

Now its actually a nice and sincere compliment, and on balance more in keeping with the spirit of the question than the one Clinton gave Trump…..so whats the problem?

Trump’s best argument so far this campaign, the one he was pushing when he was up in the polls, the one that did so well an entire section of the 3rd debate will be dedicated too it, was that Hillary was too weak, frail or sickly to have the stamina and health needed to be president.

Except per compliment trump…..shes actually a fighter and never quits……which should end most of the discussion about her physical and mental fitness to be president.

OOPS.

And here ends our second presidential debate award show….join us next week for the 3rd and final installment of the 2016 Presidential Debate Awards. (assuming Donald Trump doesnt throw a temper tantrum and skip the debate to go change his diaper and/or gets arrested for sexually assaulting everyone)

The first 2016 Presidential Debate Awards pt 2: HILLARY WINS! FATALITY

Welcome back to the 1st 2016 presidential debate award show. When we last left, things were going pretty even for out two condenters…..but now, the fun part really begins…..unless you’re a Donald trump fan in which case this is going to be painful. (for those who missed part 1 it can be found Here

Lets begin with

The “Dine and Dash” award.

This one goes to Trump, after being presented with the following story by Clinton

I've met dishwashers, painters, architects, glass installers, marble installers, drapery installers, like my dad was, who you refused to pay when they finished the work that you asked them to do.

We have an architect in the audience who designed one of your clubhouses at one of your golf courses. It's a beautiful facility. It immediately was put to use. And you wouldn't pay what the man needed to be paid, what he was charging you to do...

TRUMP: Maybe he didn't do a good job and I was unsatisfied with his work...

CLINTON: Well, to...

TRUMP: Which our country should do, too.”

Yep, that’s Donald Trump saying it’s a good idea to NOT pay people for services rendered….and that this should be applied to us at a national level, like say with the debt. It’s a wonder this man went bankrupt 4 times.

Next up:
The “soundbite you will hear in every opposition ad moving forward” award,

Again this award goes to Donald Trump for this line:

We're just opening up on Pennsylvania Avenue right next to the White House, so if I don't get there one way, I'm going to get to Pennsylvania Avenue another.

This line comes across as Trump trying to sound like he’’s outsmarted the world…..without realizing how stupid and arrogant this sounds. Not to mention equating a hotel he doesn’t actually own is the same as the white house.

Next up,

The “product placement” award

This one actually doesn’t go to a candidate, it goes to NBC’s Law and Order series, as plugged by Donald Trump:

TRUMP: Well, first of all, Secretary Clinton doesn't want to use a couple of words, and that's law and order. And we need law and order. If we don't have it, we're not going to have a country.

And when I look at what's going on in Charlotte, a city I love, a city where I have investments, when I look at what's going on throughout various parts of our country, whether it's -- I mean, I can just keep naming them all day long -- we need law and order in our country.

I just got today the, as you know, the endorsement of the Fraternal Order of Police, we just -- just came in. We have endorsements from, I think, almost every police group, very -- I mean, a large percentage of them in the United States.

We have a situation where we have our inner cities, African- Americans, Hispanics are living in he'll because it's so dangerous. You walk down the street, you get shot.

In Chicago, they've had thousands of shootings, thousands since January 1st.Thousands of shootings. And I'm saying, where is this? Is this a war-torn country? What are we doing? And we have to stop the violence. We have to bring back law and order. In a place like Chicago, where thousands of people have been killed, thousands over the last number of years, in fact, almost 4,000 have been killed since Barack Obama became president, over -- almost 4,000 people in Chicago have been killed. We have to bring back law and order. […]

TRUMP: But we need -- Lester, we need law and order. And we need law and order in the inner cities, because the people that are most affected by what's happening are African-American and Hispanic people. And it's very unfair to them what our politicians are allowing to happen.

For those too lazy to count, that’s 7 plugs for Law and Order in a matter of minutes

Next up

The “giving away the high ground" award

And again this award goes to Donald Trump. Ok so if there is one thing most right wingers believe, its that Hillary Clinton wants to steal your guns away from you and Donald Trump doesn’t. This is even the rational used by the NRA to endorse Trump over Clinton….then this happened.

First Clinton said this:
“And we finally need to pass a prohibition on anyone who's on the terrorist watch list from being able to buy a gun in our country. If you're too dangerous to fly, you are too dangerous to buy a gun. So there are things we can do, and we ought to do it in a bipartisan way.”

Which then led Trump to say:
“First of all, I agree, and a lot of people even within my own party want to give certain rights to people on watch lists and no- fly lists. I agree with you. When a person is on a watch list or a no-fly list, and I have the endorsement of the NRA, which I'm very proud of.”

Now because he pulls a trump and fails to complete his sentence, it could be argued it’s a bit unclear, but basically it seems like Trump just said he agrees with Hillary on gun control.

Especially when he followed it with this:
“Well, I'm talking about taking guns away from gangs and people that use them. And I don't think -- I really don't think you disagree with me on this, if you want to know the truth.”

Now again, thanks to Trump’s limited speaking abilities its not clear who “people that use them” are…..but its apparently a wide range of gun owners outside of the previously mentioned groups.

So yea, 2nd amendment people, why are you voting Trump? He just said, twice, he’s coming for your guns as hard as Clinton would.

Next up,
the “reversal of the night” award

This one goes to Hillary Clinton, for what in all honesty I think is the best political debate maneuver shes ever had. It started when Trump said this:

“And I will tell you, you look at the inner cities -- and I just left Detroit, and I just left Philadelphia, and I just -- you know, you've seen me, I've been all over the place. You decided to stay home, and that's OK. But I will tell you, I've been all over. And I've met some of the greatest people I'll ever meet within these communities. And they are very, very upset with what their politicians have told them and what their politicians have done.”

To which Hillary said:

“I think -- I think -- I think Donald just criticized me for preparing for this debate. And, yes, I did. And you know what else I prepared for? I prepared to be president. And I think that's a good thing.”

Now not only did this get applause from the people in the hall, I think its genius because I don’t think Trump was criticizing Clinton for preparing, I think he was trying to critize her for taking time off when she was sick. But he was Inarticulate (because hes trump) so Clinton managed to slam him hard on an attack he didn’t mean to make, and one that, even days after the debate hes taking heat for and has no defense for.

So yea, big win for Clinton on that one.

Speaking of big wins for Clinton……its time to get to Birtherism:

First up
the “Please stop asking me about this award”

Not shockingly this one goes to Trump, for when he was asked why he suddenly decided Obama was a citizen and said this:

When I got involved, I didn't fail. I got him to give the birth certificate. So I'm satisfied with it. And I'll tell you why I'm satisfied with it.

HOLT: That was...

TRUMP: Because I want to get on to defeating ISIS, because I want to get on to creating jobs, because I want to get on to having a strong border, because I want to get on to things that are very important to me and that are very important to the country.”

That’s literally Trump saying “Im satisfied with it because Id rather not talk about it anymore. Plus this was a dead issue when Obama produced his birth certificate.

Sadly for him, Lester Holt called out the chronological lie here, which leads into our next award

The “I did not prep for this shit AT ALL” award

HOLT: I will let you respond. It's important. But I just want to get the answer here. The birth certificate was produced in 2011. You've continued to tell the story and question the president's legitimacy in 2012, '13, '14, '15...

TRUMP: Yeah.

HOLT: .... as recently as January. So the question is, what changed your mind?

TRUMP: Well, nobody was pressing it, nobody was caring much about it. I figured you'd ask the question tonight, of course. But nobody was caring much about it. But I was the one that got him to produce the birth certificate. And I think I did a good job.

Secretary Clinton also fought it. I mean, you know -- now, everybody in mainstream is going to say, oh, that's not true. Look, it's true. Sidney Blumenthal sent a reporter -- you just have to take a look at CNN, the last week, the interview with your former campaign manager. And she was involved. But just like she can't bring back jobs, she can't produce.

This time Trump’s answer has two parts….once again he says he basically only “changed” his mind cause he wasn’t getting any real media attention for it….but more problematic is his claim that he “assumed” the question was coming.

And its problematic because, if you assumed this question was coming, WHY DIDN’T HE HAVE AN ANWSER READY TO GO?, cause all he had was “Please can we not talk about this” and tried to change subjects.

Seriously how bad do you have to be to fail the question you openly claim you knew was coming?

Next up,

The “NO FATTIES” award.

Anyone want to take a while guess who gets this one? Yep, its trump……but probably not for the bit your expecting (I’ll get to rosie later), instead it goes to this bit:

“I don't think anybody knows it was Russia that broke into the DNC. She's saying Russia, Russia, Russia, but I don't -- maybe it was. I mean, it could be Russia, but it could also be China. It could also be lots of other people. It also could be somebody sitting on their bed that weighs 400 pounds, OK?”

I guess in Trump world, the only people good with computers are super fat (and implied) losers. Well there goes the youth vote. Also makes this next bit kinda awkward:

I have a son. He's 10 years old. He has computers. He is so good with these computers, it's unbelievable. The security aspect of cyber is very, very tough. And maybe it's hardly doable.

So I guess Trump’s 10 year old son is 400lbs?

Next, the “What are you waiting for” award

And Trump’s streak continues.

In addition to the previously mentioned Email thing, Donald Trump also says he’d have done better if only he’d been able to bring up Benghazi…..well about that:

“Or, as I've been saying for a long time, and I think you'll agree, because I said it to you once, had we taken the oil -- and we should have taken the oil -- ISIS would not have been able to form either, because the oil was their primary source of income. And now they have the oil all over the place, including the oil -- a lot of the oil in Libya, which was another one of her disasters.”

And then the conversation moved on. Where’s the follow up? You want to talk about Benghazi, that was your chance….so what were you waiting for?

To be honest, I think trump was getting tired….cause from this point on his debate performance starts decline at an accelerated pace, which leads to our next award.

The “I’d Like to phone a friend” award:

Seriously. At one point Donald Trump actually asked people to call someone else rather than have him defend his own bullshit.

“I then spoke to Sean Hannity, which everybody refuses to call Sean Hannity. I had numerous conversations with Sean Hannity at Fox. And Sean Hannity said -- and he called me the other day -- and I spoke to him about it -- he said you were totally against the war, because he was for the war.

HOLT: Why is your judgment better than...

TRUMP: And when he -- excuse me. And that was before the war started. Sean Hannity said very strongly to me and other people -- he's willing to say it, but nobody wants to call him. I was against the war. He said, you used to have fights with me, because Sean was in favor of the war.

And I understand that side, also, not very much, because we should have never been there. But nobody called Sean Hannity. And then they did an article in a major magazine, shortly after the war started. I think in '04. But they did an article which had me totally against the war in Iraq.

And one of your compatriots said, you know, whether it was before or right after, Trump was definitely -- because if you read this article, there's no doubt. But if somebody -- and I'll ask the press -- if somebody would call up Sean Hannity, this was before the war started. He and I used to have arguments about the war. I said, it's a terrible and a stupid thing. It's going to destabilize the Middle East. And that's exactly what it's done. It's been a disaster.”

For those counting at home, that is 4 times Trump begged someone to let him phone a friend….because debates are hard.

And it only got harder, with our next award

The “they arnt laughing with you” award.

This award again goes to Trump who in the span of a couple of seconds got laughed at by the audience…..twice (although admittedly Clinton gets the assist for one of those)

“TRUMP: Well, I have much better judgment than she does. There's no question about that. I also have a much better temperament than she has, you know?

(LAUGHTER)

I have a much better -- she spent -- let me tell you -- she spent hundreds of millions of dollars on an advertising -- you know, they get Madison Avenue into a room, they put names -- oh, temperament, let's go after -- I think my strongest asset, maybe by far, is my temperament. I have a winning temperament. I know how to win. She does not have a...”

Yea, you can see how great Trump’s temperament is, just by looking at the change in his ability to complete a sentence once the audience started laughing……look how flustered he got. And then Clinton comes along for the kill:

“HOLT: Secretary Clinton?

TRUMP: Wait. The AFL-CIO the other day, behind the blue screen, I don't know who you were talking to, Secretary Clinton, but you were totally out of control. I said, there's a person with a temperament that's got a problem.

HOLT: Secretary Clinton?

CLINTON: Whew, OK.

(LAUGHTER)”

This by the way is the now infamous “shimmy” people are talking about for this debate……just to give full context.

So yea, that’s trump getting mocked twice….and the nights not over yet.

The “WAR! HUH, GOOD GOD YALL, What is it good for?” Award

Do I even have to say who’s winning this one? Yep the Trump streak continues. Although this moment appears to have slipped under most people’s radars it seems, Donald Trump has no idea what might or might not start a war.

CLINTON: The other day, I saw Donald saying that there were some Iranian sailors on a ship in the waters off of Iran, and they were taunting American sailors who were on a nearby ship. He said, you know, if they taunted our sailors, I'd blow them out of the water and start another war. That's not good judgment.

TRUMP: That would not start a war.

CLINTON: That is not the right temperament to be commander-in- chief, to be taunted. And the worst part...

TRUMP: No, they were taunting us.”

So yea, in Trump world blowing soldiers up wouldn’t piss off their government, because they were “taunting” us and no taunt can ever ever ever ever ever ever ever go unanswered (Im pretty sure that’s actually the Trump family motto by the way) and of course the other government would totally see it that way too…..

Next we reach a moment that will go down in the record books…..

The “Fastest flip flop in the history of mankind award”

Which happened when Trump said this:

“I agree with her on one thing. The single greatest problem the world has is nuclear armament, nuclear weapons, not global warming, like you think and your -- your president thinks.”

So in the course of a single sentence, Trump agrees with Hillary that nukes are the greatest problem, then disagrees with Hillary actually having said that and instead says he disagrees with her because she believes something else.

And all of this is about 15 seconds…..which Ive seen a couple of places claim is actually the legit record for fastest flip flop in a presidential debate in history (no idea if they are right though)….just saying.

And by the way…..Trumps logical issues are about to get whole hell of a lot worse

Our next award

The “Word Salad” award.

Trump picks this one up for this exchange near the end of the debate:

“HOLT: Which leads to my next question, as we enter our last segment here (inaudible) the subject of securing America. On nuclear weapons, President Obama reportedly considered changing the nation's longstanding policy on first use. Do you support the current policy? Mr. Trump, you have two minutes on that.

TRUMP: Well, I have to say that, you know, for what Secretary Clinton was saying about nuclear with Russia, she's very cavalier in the way she talks about various countries. But Russia has been expanding their -- they have a much newer capability than we do. We have not been updating from the new standpoint.

I looked the other night. I was seeing B-52s, they're old enough that your father, your grandfather could be flying them. We are not -- we are not keeping up with other countries. I would like everybody to end it, just get rid of it. But I would certainly not do first strike.

I think that once the nuclear alternative happens, it's over. At the same time, we have to be prepared. I can't take anything off the table. Because you look at some of these countries, you look at North Korea, we're doing nothing there. China should solve that problem for us. China should go into North Korea.China is totally powerful as it relates to North Korea.

And by the way, another one powerful is the worst deal I think I've ever seen negotiated that you started is the Iran deal. Iran is one of their biggest trading partners. Iran has power over North Korea.

And when they made that horrible deal with Iran, they should have included the fact that they do something with respect to North Korea. And they should have done something with respect to Yemen and all these other places.

And when asked to Secretary Kerry, why didn't you do that? Why didn't you add other things into the deal? One of the great giveaways of all time, of all time, including $400 million in cash. Nobody's ever seen that before. That turned out to be wrong. It was actually $1.7 billion in cash, obviously, I guess for the hostages. It certainly looks that way.

So you say to yourself, why didn't they make the right deal? This is one of the worst deals ever made by any country in history. The deal with Iran will lead to nuclear problems. All they have to do is sit back 10 years, and they don't have to do much.

HOLT: Your two minutes is expired.

TRUMP: And they're going to end up getting nuclear. I met with Bibi Netanyahu the other day. Believe me, he's not a happy camper.”

So 3 things are clear here….one Trump keeps contradicting himself (for example how much money was in that deal?, Does China control North Korea, or does Iran),

Second apparently Iran runs the world and influences everything. They must be the illuminati

But last and most important…holy fucking crap does Trump clearly not know anything about the policy.

Next up….

The “wait, where the f*ck am I?” award.

I’m pretty sure there was a moment right near the end of the debate in which Trump may have straight out forgotten where he was or what he was doing.

HOLT: Mr. Trump, this year Secretary Clinton became the first woman nominated for president by a major party. Earlier this month, you said she doesn't have, quote, "a presidential look." She's standing here right now. What did you mean by that?

TRUMP: She doesn't have the look. She doesn't have the stamina. I said she doesn't have the stamina. And I don't believe she does have the stamina. To be president of this country, you need tremendous stamina.

HOLT: The quote was, "I just don't think she has the presidential look."

TRUMP: You have -- wait a minute. Wait a minute, Lester. You asked me a question. Did you ask me a question?

You have to be able to negotiate our trade deals. You have to be able to negotiate, that's right, with Japan, with Saudi Arabia. I mean, can you imagine, we're defending Saudi Arabia? And with all of the money they have, we're defending them, and they're not paying? All you have to do is speak to them. Wait. You have so many different things you have to be able to do, and I don't believe that Hillary has the stamina.

Notice what happened when the moderator tried to feed Trump his own quote….Trump appears to straight up get confused as to what’s going on…asking if he was asked a question….then proceeds to give an answer (about Trade Deals) that was actually relevant to the previous question….only to top himself at the very end (“Wait.”) and actually restate his original claim.

Next up, our last award,

The “Boy who cried Bitch” award.

Again, add this one to the pile for Trump. So Trump was attacked by Hillary for the things he said about women and his defense was:

“TRUMP: You know, Hillary is hitting me with tremendous commercials. Some of it's said in entertainment. Some of it's said -- somebody who's been very vicious to me, Rosie O'Donnell, I said very tough things to her, and I think everybody would agree that she deserves it and nobody feels sorry for her.

But you want to know the truth? I was going to say something...

HOLT: Please very quickly.

TRUMP: ... extremely rough to Hillary, to her family, and I said to myself, "I can't do it. I just can't do it. It's inappropriate. It's not nice." But she spent hundreds of millions of dollars on negative ads on me, many of which are absolutely untrue. They're untrue. And they're misrepresentations.”

Meaning Trump’s defense for I say nasty things to women was basically “yea but the bitches deserve it….buy hey, at least I’m not saying them to you….I’m just going to imply them, heh heh heh, look how clever I am”. It kinda like when a toddler trys to outsmart you by “hiding” behind the coatrack….except in trumps case no one is pretending they cant see him. And the worst part is……he’s still trying to pull this scam to convince people he didn’t massive fuck up the debate. So now of course, Miss Universe, Miss Australia, and others are major scandals for Trump. Though you have to enjoy the irony of a bunch of beauty queens taking out Trump.

So there you have it folks, the first 2016 Presidential Debate awards…..join us for the 2nd award show in about 2 weeks, when the remaining pieces of Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton face off yet again.

The first 2016 Presidential Debate Awards pt 1: ROUND 1 FIGHT!

Earlier this week was the first 2016 Presidential Debate, featuring “The Lady in Red” Hillary Clinton and the “Asshole of Orange” Donald J Trump (by the way, how come Trump got introduced with a middle initial, and Hillary didn’t? just wondering).

Now because this was a long debate, its going to take multiple blogs to cover this…..But to make it more fun it will be following the format I used with the last few GOP debate, a fake award show, so here we go with the first part of the 1st 2016 Presidential Debate Awards.

First we start early on in the debate with

The “mean girl” trying to make “fetch” happen award:

This award goes to Hillary Clinton for her multiple attempts to try to introduce a new catch phrase: Trumped up trickle down.

The first reference to this was early on in the debate, when Clinton said

“We also, though, need to have a tax system that rewards work and not just financial transactions. And the kind of plan that Donald has put forth would be trickle-down economics all over again. In fact, it would be the most extreme version, the biggest tax cuts for the top percent of the people in this country than we've ever had.

I call it trumped-up trickle-down, because that's exactly what it would be. That is not how we grow the economy.

Then again about 10 minutes later:

“$4 billion tax benefit for your family. And when you look at what you are proposing...

TRUMP: How much? How much for my family?

CLINTON: ... it is...

TRUMP: Lester, how much?

CLINTON: ... as I said, trumped-up trickle-down. Trickle-down did not work. It got us into the mess we were in, in 2008 and 2009. Slashing taxes on the wealthy hasn't worked.”

Thing is, Trumped up trickle down is neither catchy, funny, short, or rolls off the tongue. So lets hope Hillary stops trying to make it happen.

Then the “I’m and oxymoron award”

And Donald Trump gets on the board with his first award.

When asked about his plan to grow jobs Donald Trump said this:

So Ford is leaving. You see that, their small car division leaving. Thousands of jobs leaving Michigan, leaving Ohio. They're all leaving. And we can't allow it to happen anymore. […] We cannot let [businesses leaving the country] happen. Under my plan, I'll be reducing taxes tremendously, from 35 percent to 15 percent for companies, small and big businesses. That's going to be a job creator like we haven't seen since Ronald Reagan. It's going to be a beautiful thing to watch.

Then later he said this:

“Well, the first thing you do is don't let the jobs leave. The companies are leaving. I could name, I mean, there are thousands of them. They're leaving, and they're leaving in bigger numbers than ever.

And what you do is you say, fine, you want to go to Mexico or some other country, good luck. We wish you a lot of luck. But if you think you're going to make your air conditioners or your cars or your cookies or whatever you make and bring them into our country without a tax, you're wrong.”

Now heres the issue, and we can even use Trump’s example of Ford. When Ford moves their manufacturing to Mexico, they will still be headquartered in the United States. Meaning under Trump’s plan their taxes will go down significantly as they are an American company.

But by manufacturing in Mexico, Ford’s taxes should go up significantly under Trump’s plan because they are making things in Mexico and bringing them back here.

So yea, which is it? Are business taxes going up or down under Trump?

Next up, another award to Trump, this time the

“I see you riding round time with the girl I love and I’m like FUCK YOU!” award

This award comes from the following exchange

“Clinton: […]In fact, Donald was one of the people who rooted for the housing crisis. He said, back in 2006, "Gee, I hope it does collapse, because then I can go in and buy some and make some money." Well, it did collapse.

TRUMP: That's called business, by the way.”

Making money on your getting fucked, that’s good business to Trump. Makes you wonder if he has a chance to make money as president but fuck you over as a result, will he take it?

I don’t know but I’m pretty sure his new campaign slogan is “Fuck you, make money”

The Award:

And it’s Trump with a threepeate as he again interrupts Clinton.

Clinton: Donald thinks that climate change is a hoax perpetrated by the Chinese. I think it's real.

TRUMP: I did not. I did not. I do not say that.

CLINTON: I think science is real.

TRUMP: I do not say that.”

Now for the record, he did say that [insert tweet], beyond that the clip in the award name sums up exactly how I think Trump came off in this bit.

And in the
Award.

This one happened to many people immediately following this exchange:

“CLINTON: So we have taken the home page of my website, HillaryClinton.com, and we've turned it into a fact-checker. So if you want to see in real-time what the facts are, please go and take a look. Because what I have proposed...

TRUMP: And take a look at mine, also, and you'll see.”

Well it turns out, a lot of people did that.

And well only one of the candidates websites was up to the task, and people suddenly noticed that Donald Trump’s website had crashed….in fact it had crashed when the debate started, just from that traffic, let alone when Donald directed people too it.

Speaking of directing people to websites, this was not the only time this happened, which brings up to our

“Shilling for the opponent” award:

And like the last one, this one also goes to Trump, who in the very next exchange/question said:

“TRUMP: And look at her website. You know what? It's no difference than this. She's telling us how to fight ISIS. Just go to her website. She tells you how to fight ISIS on her website. “

Yep, that’s right, Donald Trump is actively encouraging you to go look as his opponents plan and see how good it is.

And he really really really wants you to do it, as nearly an hour later at the end of the debate, he comes back to it.

“Trump : I will go very quickly. But I will tell you that Hillary will tell you to go to her website and read all about how to defeat ISIS, which she could have defeated by never having it, you know, get going in the first place.”

So yea, why are you still reading this blog? GO READ HILLARY CLINTONS ISIS PLAN……..Even Donald Trump wants you to do it.

Clinton by the way openly mocked Trump after his first request to read her plan which leads directly into our next award:

“Let’s do the time warp again” Award:

CLINTON: Well, at least I have a plan to fight ISIS.

HOLT: ... achieving prosperity...

TRUMP: No, no, you're telling the enemy everything you want to do.

CLINTON: No, we're not. No, we're not.

TRUMP: See, you're telling the enemy everything you want to do. No wonder you've been fighting -- no wonder you've been fighting ISIS your entire adult life.”

Hillary Clinton is 68 years old. ISIS was founded in 2013/2014. So unless ISIS has a time machine we don’t know about, its basically impossible for ANYONE over the age of 20 to have been fighting ISIS their entire adult life.

Seriously of all the things Trump said, this may actually have been the easiest to disprove and the single most laughable claim of the debate.

This as you may have noticed if you watched the debate live was kinda the start of Trump going off the rails for the remainder of the debate.

Which brings up the next award.

The “Whiplash” award

So of course, Donald Trump was asked about his taxes and why he wont release them….and at first he stuck to his usual answer.

TRUMP: I don't mind releasing -- I'm under a routine audit. And it'll be released. And -- as soon as the audit's finished, it will be released.

Minutes later however, when pressed on the issue, things changed a bit

“I will say this. We have a situation in this country that has to be taken care of. I will release my tax returns -- against my lawyer's wishes -- when she releases her 33,000 e-mails that have been deleted. As soon as she releases them, I will release.”

So he cant release them cause of the audit…..until he can release them under audit and doesn’t want to…..any chance we can get some clarification on this Mr. trump?

Trump: Almost every lawyer says, you don't release your returns until the audit's complete. When the audit's complete, I'll do it. But I would go against them if she releases her e-mails.

So you can and cant release because of the audit, but you will and wont anyways? Thanks for clearing that up.

Incidentally between the first and second incident of whiplash here, Trump said something even worse

The “why bother not to incriminate yourself” award:

Ok so after mentioning his audit, Trump tries to go on to defend why he’s being audited…..and fails FREAKING MISERABLY.

“Trump: Well, I told you, I will release them as soon as the audit. Look, I've been under audit almost for 15 years. I know a lot of wealthy people that have never been audited. I said, do you get audited? I get audited almost every year.

And in a way, I should be complaining. I'm not even complaining. I don't mind it. It's almost become a way of life. I get audited by the IRS. But other people don't.”

So yea there is definitely something suspicious in Donald Trump’s tax returns……after all even rich people don’t get audited for 15 straight years as Trump says.

The question is really WHAT is in Trumps returns, is it that “he's not as rich as he says he is” or “maybe he's not as charitable as he claims to be.” And of course “we don't know all of his business dealings, but we have been told through investigative reporting that he owes about $650 million to Wall Street and foreign banks. Or maybe he doesn't want the American people, all of you watching tonight, to know that he's paid nothing in federal taxes.”

Its your pick which you believe….or all of them, or something else….take your pick. (and yes all the quoted parts are from Hillary Clinton after Trump said it)

And now for the biggest moment of the debate:

The “Craigslist Missed Connection” award

And this award is presented to Donald Trump. Since the debate ended Trump has been saying the debate was biased because he was never asked about Hillary’s emails. Except he was….he just neglected to answer the question.

“HOLT: He also -- he also raised the issue of your e-mails. Do you want to respond to that?

CLINTON: I do. You know, I made a mistake using a private e- mail.

TRUMP: That's for sure.

CLINTON: And if I had to do it over again, I would, obviously, do it differently. But I'm not going to make any excuses. It was a mistake, and I take responsibility for that.

HOLT: Mr. Trump?

TRUMP: That was more than a mistake. That was done purposely. OK? That was not a mistake. That was done purposely. When you have your staff taking the Fifth Amendment, taking the Fifth so they're not prosecuted, when you have the man that set up the illegal server taking the Fifth, I think it's disgraceful. And believe me, this country thinks it's -- really thinks it's disgraceful, also.

As far as my tax returns, you don't learn that much from tax returns. That I can tell you. You learn a lot from financial disclosure. And you should go down and take a look at that.

The other thing, I'm extremely underleveraged. The report that said $650 -- which, by the way, a lot of friends of mine that know my business say, boy, that's really not a lot of money. It's not a lot of money relative to what I had.

The buildings that were in question, they said in the same report, which was -- actually, it wasn't even a bad story, to be honest with you, but the buildings are worth $3.9 billion. And the $650 isn't even on that. But it's not $650. It's much less than that. […]

To be honest this answer continues in a similar vein for many many more paragraphs….because it’s the inherent problem of Trump, no insult can go unanswered…..even at the cost of all else.

Now it should be noted, if there was a turning point in the debate. Up until now, to be honest Trump took some hits, and Clinton took some hits. However after this point…..the bottom fell out on Trump and he started taking shot after shot after shot……..so given the change in tone, this seems to be the best place to wrap up part 1 of this debate review.

Part 2 is already up and written and can be found here

Hillary's health proves the media is terminally ill.

If you’ve been paying any attention at all to politics recently you’ve probably heard that Hillary Clinton is about to drop dead and how this totally disqualifies her from being president. You may have even heard the Democrats are scrambling to replace her on the ballot cause they totally have to forfeit the election and take a 10 yard penalty before starting the next one.

Now what you might not know is that this is total bullshit.

Now yes its true Hillary Clinton had/has a case of pneumonia, but it turns out that the only people close to death in this story are the mainstream media.

Ok so in the last few years, the media has lost all track of its objectivity and its job, and has instead decided its real job is complete and utter neutrality in all things at all times no matter facts.

For example, if someone says the sky is blue, and another person says the sky is plaid, the media spends days digging up people they call “experts” to discuss how reasonable both sides of the debate are, and how both sides have a message that people need to hear and decide on.

At no point does the media think it might be a good idea to stick their heads out a window and look up and see for themselves what fucking color the sky is.

Because doing that would mean they would have to say one side is wrong……and that can NEVER EVER EVER EVER Happen. That is a violation of the media prime directive.

Now perhaps you’re not yet convinced so here are some real world examples:

The media tells you “Climate change isn’t a settled science” Science tells you 99% of scientists say it exists. But someone once said it wasn’t so we have to assume it’s a valid and factually based belief.

The media tells you “Planned Parenthood might be selling baby body parts.” The tapes themselves…..even the highly edited versions, say actually the place they are filming is National Abortion League and not Planned Parenthood. But hey, someone once said it was Planned Parenthood so we have to assume it’s a valid and factually based belief.

The media tells you “its possible Barack Obama might be a Muslim, we cant be sure of his faith.” The Media also tells you “Barack Obama’s Christian pastor, Rev. Wright is a raging lunatic”.

That’s right, its gotten so bad the media wont even tell you one side is provable wrong…..even when reporting on a story that one side is provable wrong. (If Obama was a muslim….he wouldn’t have a pastor…..just in case someone needs me to spell it out for them)

So when Donald Trump’s campaign started suggesting weeks ago that Hillary Clinton had suffered a major brain injury, was possible covering up a stroke, an aneurism, Parkinson’s or even had a battery installed into her brain, and she was basically days away from dying, the media treated it as a totally valid idea, despite the complete lack of evidence to support it.

Yes eventually a tape emerged that allegedly showed Clinton having a weird twitch and convulsion that appeared to look like a stroke…..and then almost as quickly the full version of that tape emerged showing the whole twitch was part of a joke Clinton was making and that the edited version had been slowed down to make the fake symptoms look more severe.

So despite being almost instantly disproving, this edited tape made the rounds on the mainstream media for days, proving that Clinton had a brain injury. No one ever bothered to mention the tape wasn’t real. Because you know that would involve taking sides.

So that’s the context, when on September 11th, Hillary Clinton collapsed at an event as a result of her symptoms of what was eventually revealed to be pneumonia.

And how did the mainstream media react? Well no less a person than Tom Brocaw said this meant Hillary Clinton should release scans of her brain to prove there was no way the [already disproven and made up] traumatic brain injury could have affected her.

Cause you know pneumonia is a sign of traumatic brain injury the same way a hang nail is a sign of having been shot in the face.

So yes, this kicked off days of debate in the mainstream media….days in which the media literally ignored EVERYTHING so they could debate the possible consequences of Hillary’s possible traumatic brain injury.

For example they wanted to know, could the Democratic Party force Hillary Clinton to withdraw. They even dug up a former head of the DNC to talk about how the Democratic Party needs to seriously consider this option.

Now by the way, a few weeks ago the media decided to talk about if the Republican Party could force Donald Trump to withdraw, and they discovered, No, by law the nomination cant be withdrawn….but the candidate can choose to withdraw it.

Now of course, if that was the law two/three weeks ago…..its still the law now. But you know mentioning that would require “taking a side” and all opinions are equally as valid fuck the facts.

They went from there to discuss, who would replace Hillary Clinton on the ticket [that she legally cant be removed from]…..cause hey why not speculate widely about shit not based in reality?

If you care by the way, the consensus candidate of the reality unbound was Vice President Joe Biden, who they decided could totally run the country for the next 8 years.

See according to the media the Vice President ALWAYS has the best chance of becoming the next president…cause that’s what the media has decided to think. Now in the reality based world, the VP has only seceded the president TWICE (baring the president dying in office), Martin Van Buren following Andrew Jackson and George H.W. Bush following Reagan……and both of them lost reelection

Anybody want to guess why these facts are never introduced into that discussion?

That’s right, cause it would mean someone would be proven wrong.

Or in this case, doubly wrong.

See lets say Hillary Cinton DID decided for no reason at all to leave the ticket……well guess what, we already know who would replace her……and its not Joe Biden. It’s Tim Kaine……you know, her running mate, the guy running for Vice President?

You all remember the Vice President right? That would be that position in the Constitution whos entire purpose is to be able to take over the job of President if the current President cant?

Like there is literally no other reason at all for a vice president to exist…..and the media of course covers the Vice Presidential selection of both major parties. But then, when the question comes up…….well they cant tell you what they reported on and why it happens cause that might mean proving someone wrong…..and that is never allowed.

Which brings up the next point……the whole reason Hillary’s health is important, according to his opponents is cause no one is sure if the country would survive if a president died in office, or even what to do.

Cause that’s never a thing that happened.
William Henry Harrison, Zachary Taylor, Abraham Lincoln, James Garfield, William McKinley, Warren Harding, Franklin Roosevelt, and Jack Kennedy all served out their terms. Richard Nixon even got his full 8 years.

So you know the whole “What do we do if the president dies thing” would be totally new and untrodded ground for this country…

But I hear what your saying, maybe they just think you cant be president if youre not 100% physically fit.

Now I have a retort to that as well, but first I need to go tell president FDR to stop break dancing and running around my house.

But hey, I mean if America’s longest serving president being confined to a wheelchair isn’t enough proof, we could also talk about the one who had a cancerous tumor removed (Cleveland) or the one who served his entire term with a terminal illness (Arthur), or the one with a horribly messed up back (Kennedy), or the one who was blind in one eye (Teddy Roosevelt) or the one with a bullet in him (Jackson….also TR). Not to mention whatever it was that Lincoln had….or Washington’s horrible scars and impotence from Smallpox. And oh yea, let us not forget the one with Alzheimer’s (Reagan)…..you know the one the entire republican party wants every president to be just like?

So as we can all see, physical fitness its just as important to being president as eye color is….maybe even slightly less so.

So yea, despite what the media tells you, Hillary Clinton doesn’t have brain damage, isn’t going to be replaced on the ticket, if she dies we have a backup plan, and we have done fantastic with less than physically fit presidents in the past.

But of course the media cant tell you this…..cause that would mean telling some folks their ideas are fucking stupid.

Luckily though, there is one person who is saving us from the cavalcade of retardation suffered by the mainstream media……Donald J. Trump, the man who started it all.

See, Trump has never met a situation he couldn’t fuck up for himself.

See not long after Hillary had her incident, Trump’s campaign started calling on her to release all of her medical records. Eventually someone had the bright idea to ask Trump’s campaign to release his.

Now this shouldn’t be a problem for Trump….after all a few months back his doctor released a statement proclaiming Trump to be the healthiest person to ever run for the presidency, while also claiming Trump tested positive on every single one of his medical tests.

Now of course back then, no one cared about medical records, so no one bothered to point out if Trump really did test positive for all his tests, that means he has HIV. Also Herpes. Also Scabies. Also Leprosy. And Cholera. And Dysentery. And Parkinson’s. And Cancer.

Cause, yea with medical tests, testing positive is NOT always a good thing.

Anyways, the fact that Trump has all these aliments probably explains why his campaign manager told reporters, that Trump would not release his medical records, and that they are covered by his right to privacy. (that scream your hearing is pro lifers around the country flipping shit at the acknowledgement of this idea)

And well if there is one thing the media likes more than total and abject neutrality in the face of faces to stave off having to do their actual jobs, its someone ELSE’s hypocrisy. So naturally they called him on this immediately.

Which led to Trump’s campaign promising he WOULD release his medical records…..on the Dr. Oz show. But that Doctor Oz wouldn’t be able to ask Trump about anything that Trump didn’t want to discuss.

Except then it turned out, Donald Trump would not be releasing his medical records on Dr. Oz’s show or anywhere else. Instead he would go on Dr. Oz’s show to answer prescreened questions about his health…..and release a summary of a doctor’s opinion of his medical records that he may or may not have seen.

Meanwhile this also takes the heat off of Hillary…and makes it hard for Trump to hit her on an issue he was winning on. Sure as a story its equally as bullshit… but it allows the media to run both a hypocrite story AND claim both sides are equally untrustworthy…..so they can be super neutral YAY.

Cause really, feeding the media’s sickness is a win for everyone *sarcasm*.
